Marie
Owner/Planner/Coordinator - Hi! I am the face behind Hashtag Events. I love all things wedding and event related. I’ve always been a planner and am so blessed to be able to do what I love as a career. I’m a mother of 4, dabble in cake decorating, enjoy creativity, and love spending time with friends and family. I’m a dog lover- especially big dogs, minivan driver, and love to laugh. I love to sing but don’t ask me to do a solo. I graduated college in 2006 with a degree in Business Management, and have been organizing parties and events for 14 years. I got my start in weddings in the Chicago area in 2015 and started Hashtag Events in 2016. I really enjoy working with my amazing clients, and look forward to getting to know you.

Stephanie
Assistant/Lead Coordinator- Stephanie found out she loved wedding planning while planning her own wedding. She works in IT during the day but is excited to help coordinate your big day on the weekends! Stephanie met Marie one year in college singing together in the UW Whitewater Concert Choir. She is mama to THE sweetest little boy, who must get his sweetness from her because she is one of the sweetest people you will meet. She is genuinely caring, fun to be around, and has the best smile. She is eager to be a part of your day!

Mai
Assistant/Lead Coordinator- Mai is a one of the friendliest people you will meet! She often becomes friends on social media with our couples, wedding party, guests, and vendors after interacting with them at our weddings. She easily becomes your friend when you first meet her. She has been Marie’s right hand lady for 2-3 years. Super helpful and always willing to do what needs to be done. She loves working weddings on the weekends, but has a great day job in management in the health care industry. She plans to move out of the area soon, so if you have the chance to work with her, consider yourself lucky as she will have limited availability.

Rachel
Assistant- Rachel has an infectious smile that brightens your day. She is a lover of crafts, and can’t wait to work with your wedding design and decor. Rachel works in radiology and is a mother of two adorable little ones. She is a great addition to our staff and looks forward to helping make your day the best day ever!

Ashley
Assistant- Ashley is a sweet mama of two. Her passion for photography is what brought her into the wedding industry. She’s rocking her new business while being a stay at home mom, and is active in the Oshkosh mama community. We met at a monthly mom’s group and began working together last year. She is excited to meet you and help make your day amazing!

Lily
Junior Assistant- Meet Lily! Lily is a sweet, goofy, girl who loves animals and all things pretty. She has a knack for being organized and is an excellent help with set up and take down. Lily is a natural when it comes to doing things “the right way” like her mom. Did we mention she is Marie’s oldest daughter? She is a great help at wedding shows and event set up and take down, and she looks forward to being “old enough” to be an assistant (and future lead coordinator) at weddings!
